At 21 years old I packed up my Honda Accord with everything I could fit and (against everyones advice) drove 2,400 miles from my small, blue collar hometown - South Amboy, New Jersey to Los Angeles to pursue my TV/Film career. After 4 hours of sleep in St. Louis, 2 tornados in Kansas, 4 hours of sleep in Denver and getting pulled over by a Colorado St. Trooper for driving too slow (Give me a break I was sleep deprived lol) I made it to LA... in one piece... in 3 days.
People frequently ask me what my earliest inspiration was to hit the weights and put on some muscle. I guess I've just always wanted to get as close as humanly possible to a real-life superhero. Growing up in the 90's some of my earliest inspirations were G.I. Joes and Popeye. It was a hard lesson for me at 14 years old when I found out all that spinach my mom convinced me to eat wasn't ACTUALLY helping me put on muscle. I'll never forget that day.
INT. NEW JERSEY GNC - AISLE - AFTERNOON - YOUNG ANTHONY LAVIGNE, 14, skinny, naive - Enters his local GNC. His eyes light up like a kid in a candy shop. It was at that moment he realized his mothers cans of Del Monte Spinach weren't exactly what he needed to become a walking G.I. Joe.

The story continued with rigorous daily workouts. At 18 y/o I began competing in Natural Bodybuilding and by 19 years old became the youngest natural professional bodybuilder on the planet (Proudly competing in the WNBF - the worlds oldest natural bodybuilding federation, with the most strict/random drug testing policy) Since, I've been blessed with the opportunity to uplift and inspire others to achieve their full potential via fitness expos, events, commercials, TV/Film and my online fitness programs.
I believe my life purpose is to motivate people to become the best version of themselves and show them that anything is possible if you're willing to put in an insane amount of work. I like to look at Fitness & TV/Film as my chosen vehicles to carry out that purpose!
A few few of my special skills are:
Firearms
Combat Stunts
Motorcycle Operations
Boxing/MMA
Parkour
Baseball
Box Jumping
My most recent wins in TV/Film would be Guest Starring on the hit TV Show 9-1-1, Co-Starring on Warner Bros All American & having a strong supporting role in the Cannes Film Festival award winning film - No Air For Angels.
